This week's Monday Night Raw featured the promo return of Rhea Ripley. Mami was home and had something to say.

Here are your winners and losers for Raw, July 15, 2024:

Winner: Ripley Challenges Liv Morgan

Saying she would handle Dom later, Ripley said Liv had a title Ripley never lost. Ripley dared Morgan to come to the ring and get ripped apart. Dom showed up instead with a black rose. As Dom tried to appeal to Ripley, Liv popped up on the screen. She said hi to Daddy Dom and taunted Ripley about her shoulder injury. Liv said she enjoyed having Dom all to herself. She said Mami might be home, but Liv is on top. Ripley challenged Liv at SummerSlam. Liv accepted.

Ripley spoke to the camera and told Liv she would end her revenge tour, title rein, and her career. Dom tried to hold the ropes for her and Ripley wouldn't oblige. She left and he followed. She didn't want anything to do with him.

This segment worked. Liv being backstage and avoiding Ripley helped as it kept the two women apart and Dom had to stand there like a lost puppy waiting. Backstage, Ripley threw all of the flowers Dom had placed in their dressing room at him and wouldn't let him in.

Winner: Bronson Reed. vs Sheamus

This match came after Reed knocked Sheamus' 15th anniversary and Sheamus saved Pete Dunne last week. Dunne wasn't thrilled and neither was Reed. Sheamus had the upper hand as the show went to break. Back to the action, Sheamus powered Reed up for white noise. It wasn't enough. Reed hit a powerbomb. That didn't work either. Redd went for a moonsault and missed, which allowed Sheamus to hit a Brogue Kick and get the win.

This was two big guys hitting each other, but it worked. Sheamus picked up the win and Dunne came out and took a cheap shot at Reed. Sheamus wanted to shake Dunne's hand, but Dunne refused. When Sheamus turned his back, Dunne struck. He left and Reed hit a Tsunami on a prone Celtic Warrior.

WWE aired a video package of Gunther talking about his road to SummerSlam and challenging for the World Championship. Sonya Deville also interrupted an interview with Zelina Vega, which led to the next singles match of the night.

Loser: Vega vs. Deville

Vega got the early advantage in the match with Deville, but some quick interference by Shayna Baszler when Baszler targeted Vega's arm was all it took to end the match. This was as short a match as Raw was going to offer on the night as Deville picked up a victory and showcased the strength of her group.

They went to add a post-match beatdown on Vega, but she was saved by Kayden Karter, Katana Chance, and Lyra Valkyria. This segment was too short to have any real impact.

Winner: Gunther And Priest Exchange Verbal Shots

Gunther told Damian Priest his title rein has been nothing exceptional. Saying he would happily take the burden of being the World Champion, Gunther offered to accept the title without the two having to wrestle at SummerSlam. Priest argued he fought all his life just to get to WWE and survived the streets to earn the title. Gunther argued that was the difference between the two of them. Gunther is world class and WWE begged him to sign, while Priest was nothing but "street trash".

Priest said he had no idea what was coming at SummerSlam and that the privileged scumbag was going to get his. As the two were about to throw down, Braun Strowman made his way to the ring for his scheduled match with Priest. Both men were very good here but Gunther was incredible. He's got all the tools and his promo work has been top-notch.

Strowman versus Priest took an early turn when Strowman went to tackle the champ on the outside but hurt his leg going over the barricade. Back from the break, Strowman had control again but he was selling a bad leg. Priest eventually hit three spinning kicks and a South of Heaven chokeslam to get a massive win.

Gunther came back and the two started brawling. Gunther ended up retreating, leaving to fight another day.

Winner: Carter and Chance vs. Baszler and Stark

A tag match that came out of last week's attack and this week's save, Chance and Carter took on Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark. The babyfaces hit some fast-paced tandem offense, while Stark and Baszler's strength was their advantage. Carter hit a keg stand to the outside going into a commercial break.

Baszler and Stark had control coming out of the break, but more exciting offense allowed Carter and Chance to keep momentum. Lyra Valkyria was on site to stop any interference. Ultimately, Chance got caught in a devastating move and they hit their new finisher for the pin.

This was a solid tag match. Carter and Chance looked great, but Baszler and Stark's big finish was a big moment that established them as a real force.

Winner: Drew McIntyre Prepared To Do Business?

Adam Pearce and Drew McIntyre got in the ring together and tried to put things behind them so they could get to the McIntyre versus CM Punk match. Drew said he wanted the match and Pearce said he needed one thing first, an apology from McIntyre to the two officials he hurt. McIntyre didn't want to, but looked prepared to do what was needed to get his bout with Punk.

McIntyre lost his cool and went on a tirade about how unfair everyone was being. Pearce said if McIntyre wasn't going to accept the terms, he was still suspended. McIntyre shoved the two officials and then got in Pearce's face. Seth Rollins' music hit and two men started fighting. McIntyre got out before he got hit with a Stomp.

This was a solid segment, but it might have been nice to see McIntyre lose it on Pearce and take him out. Perhaps that's coming next week. It feels like the inevitable progression of McIntyre going off the rails.

WWE aired the videotape that was dropped off during Pat McAfee's show on Monday. It was Erick Rowan talking about losing his family (Brodie Lee and Wyatt). He then talked about how the Wyatt Sicks has given him purpose and a beacon of hope again. "We're gonna take out broken hearts and make some beautiful art."

Winner: Dom vs. Jey Uso

Dom attacked Jey before the bell officially rang. A mad Dom seemed to be quite effective early. He had control going into the break. Jey had the upper hand after the commercial and when Jey was about to hit a splash, Liv Morgan came and dragged Dom out. She got on top of him in a suggestive position and Ripley came out to chase Liv off through the crowd.

Ripley told Dom to get back in and finish the match. Uso speared him and hit the Uso Splash for the win. Uso gestured to Ripley to call him and while Rhea smirked and looked one at Dom disappointed. Backstage, Ripley caught up with Dom and gave him a black rose. She said, "I don't belong to anyone. I'm not yours... you're mine."

Winner: Gable and Creed Brothers Attack Bo Dallas

Master Gable said he cracked the case and knew Bo Dallas was Uncle Howdy. He called Dallas out and when Bo appeared without a mask, Brutus and Julius Creed attacked. Dallas laughed the entire time during the brutal attack. Gable wanted to what was so funny, and kept attacking Dallas, who kept laughing.

The Creeds and Gable stood arms raised as Dallas laughed in the corner. When Gable asked what was so funny, Dallas responded, "There you are." The lights went out and smoke filled the ring. The piano notes played and a blue light shined as the group emerged from it. Cross was holding the lantern as they slowly walked to the ring. Gable and The Creeds bailed as Dallas got back to his feet. The Sicks gathered behind him as they crowded around the lantern. Dallas raised his arms as if to channel Wyatt.

This was a huge pivot as the Creeds are now aligned with Gable, the group showed up again, and we have the first bumps and appearance of Dallas without the Howdy gear.

Loser: Sami Zayn vs. Ilja Dragunov

The main event was the Intercontinental Championship title defense by Sami Zayn against Ilja Dragunov. These two took the last 15 minutes of the show to go at it. Dragunov had Zayn in his sights in the closing moments of the bout. He went for a Senton and missed. Zayn almost got the pin. Zayn hit a Helluva Kick onto Dragunov while the challenger was standing on the apron. Zayn went outside to roll his opponent back in. Bron Breakker started to make his way out and sprinted to the ring for a spear. He hit Dragunov.

Zayn and Breakker fought with Breakker hitting a backdrop. He hit a running spear (slightly awkwardly) and stood over Zayn to close the show.

This match was fine, but it wasn't long enough. The ending was also predictable and the botched final spear to close the show took a lot away from the close of the episode. This was one of the few misses on the night. Most of the time, these guys are nearly perfect. This was anything but.
